Delta Kappa Gamma Screening

At the request of Gwen Scott, I screened “Clara: Angel of the Rockies” to a group of about 30 Delta Kappa Gamma members. The group is made up of mostly retired educators and proved to be one of the most appreciative audiences I have had the pleasure of

Gwen Scott and me (1 of 1)

showing the film to. They even surprised me with a small speakers fee.

While Gwen and I have spoken on the phone a handful of times since the interview, it was the first time we had seen each other in person. At age 90, she was as witty as ever! She celebrated her birthday this year with a trip to the Smithsonian’s new National Museum of African American History and Culture. A highlight was having her photo taken with the statue of Clara Brown there.
